Izakaya Ronin

From the team behind Denver’s acclaimed Sushi Ronin, Izakaya Ronin pays homage to its sister restaurant with a menu featuring extensive sushi and sake selections, as well as consistently changing chef’s tasting and omakase menus served in its first-floor dining room, sushi bar and cocktail lounge for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. Downstairs, beginning at 9 p.m. and staying open until 1:30 a.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, within a repurposed boiler room, a late-night moguri izakaya (in Japanese, roughly, a “speakeasy” or “hidden tavern”) serves a selection of warm, pub-style Japanese small plates, accompanied by creative craft cocktails and the largest selection of Japanese whiskies in Denver. Helmed by executive chef Corey Baker, who sources the highest quality ingredients, including fish two days out of the water from Japan’s famed Tsukiji Fish market, Izakaya Ronin is located in RiNo’s Industry co-working space.
